SCUAA Region V 2026 | COMPETING WITH PRIDE, PLAYING WITH INTEGRITY

The Bicol Regional SCUAA Meet 2026 officially opens at Partido State University, bringing together student-athletes from various State Universities and Colleges across the Bicol Region in a celebration of sportsmanship, unity, and excellence.

In his message, CHED Commissioner Desiderio R. Apag III emphasized that the true value of sports goes beyond medals and victories. He encouraged student-athletes to compete with integrity, respect their opponents, embrace every challenge, and carry home lessons that will help shape their character beyond the playing field.

“Masarap manalo, pero mas maganda iyong panalo na alam mong pinaghirapan mo at ginawa mo nang tama.” Anchored in the spirit of "One Bicol. One Spirit: Inspiring Excellence, Integrity, and Innovation in Sports", the SCUAA Meet serves as a reminder that while student-athletes may compete against one another, they remain united as one Bicolano community, sharing a commitment to excellence, camaraderie, and fair play.

As the games begin, may every athlete give their best, play fair, and create meaningful experiences that will last far beyond the competition.

Mabuhay ang Bicol Region! Mabuhay ang ating mga student-athletes! Mabuhay ang kabataang Pilipino!
