Advancing Digital Transformation in Higher Education

Highlights from the Hybrid Meeting of the CHED Digitalization Technical Working Group held on October 28, 2026, at the CHED Central Office, UP Diliman, Quezon City.

The meeting focused on updates on the CHED Digitalization Framework and the Document Tracking Management System (DTMS), emphasizing collaboration, innovation, and the continuous improvement of internal processes through digital transformation. Discussions also covered the Student Records Management System (SRMS), Electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (e-CAV), SUC Faculty Reclassification, and Higher Education Institutional Data Analytics (HEIDA), highlighting their ongoing development and enhancement. Furthermore, the HIEDA and SRMS systems are being implemented through training clusters across all regions in the Philippines to strengthen system utilization, gather valuable feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement. These initiatives aim to ensure that the digital systems effectively address the needs of higher education institutions and contribute to the continuous advancement of CHED’s digital transformation efforts.

Through strengthened coordination and shared commitment, CHED continues to advance digitalization initiatives toward more efficient, responsive, and technology-driven public service.
